Daizu is finally going public. Version 0.1 is now available from the downloads page. This is an alpha release, just for people who are interested in the ideas I'm exploring here. It won't be ready for production use for a while, at least until I've fixed up the publishing system (getting the right output published at the right times, and sending it to the right places).
I've spent more time than I expected writing documentation, but it never seems to be enough. I expect the fundamentals of Daizu will get simpler as I get more experience with using it and find out how this stuff should really work. Until then, a variety of verbose and confusing documentation is available for anyone who wants to try to figure it out.
This is now a Free Software/Open Source effort, so if anyone wants to get involved let me know. There isn't a mailing list or anything yet. I should be able to make the Daizu Subversion repository available for anonymous read access if that would be of any use.
